A photographic portfolio

This is a small collection of some of what I consider my best photographs. You'll note that they were all taken in Australia. Well, I took so many pictures during two years of living there that it shouldn't be too surprising that many of my best shots are from that time. There's also the fact that Australia's many and varied landscapes and cityscapes provide wonderful material for the camera. It was easy to take inspiration from my surroundings.

As I pore through the thousands of photos in my collection, I find that my best shots tend to be of my surroundings, as opposed to portraits. I especially love when I'm lucky enough to take advantage of a moment of fabulous lighting, or when I see something that epitomizes for me the essence of the place I'm visiting. I hope you enjoy viewing these photos as much as I enjoyed taking them.
